Post autumn International Matches

Edinburgh and Glasgow both had matches tonight, and both team fielded players involved with Scotland in the Autumn.

I watched Edinburgh’s game and whilst I am delighted they won, I so wish they could have made the most of the opportunities they created. I guess this is where Scotland’s problems arise from.

Listening to the Glasgow match I hear that Dan Parks i killing the Ulstermen with his boot, and that’s great for points in the bag, but Dan Parks isn’t the guy to get you going forward with ball in hand. If Scotland – or Edinburgh or Glasgow – are going to be a threatening team with ball in hand, we need a #10 that will create things. I dream of another Gregor Townsend because I now genuinely believe that we have runners who can run off such a player.

The Ulster – Glasgow game is still going…
